	Consultancy Services Having worked as curriculum operations manager for a large private nursery group for several years, I am skilled at observing practice and giving feedback on areas of strength and those which need further development. This combined with my experience as an Ofsted inspector and Early years Trainer enables me to offer an invaluable consultancy service to all types of non-domestic child care settings who are striving to improve their practice. Package 1: Pre-Ofsted inspection: One of the most popular services I offer is that of a mock inspection. This visit is conducted exactly as an Ofsted inspection would be: looking at policies and procedures, the SEF and spending a day observing practice. I will then meet with the manager/registered person and give feedback on strengths and areas for development with the most likely actions/recommendations before producing an Ofsted style written report. At only £400 this is real value for money for any setting wanting to prepare for their Ofsted inspection and have an opportunity to improve their potential grade. Package 2: Inspection plus detailed feedback and support in action planning: The problem with an Ofsted inspection is that the inspector tells you what isn’t going well but not how to fix it! With this package, my two day consultancy includes the inspection as set out in package 1, plus detailed feedback on areas of strength and a detailed plan prioritising areas for improvement. The extra bonus is that final piece of the jigsaw puzzle – some strategies and actions which will effect improvement - all for just £700. Already had your inspection? For just £400 I will work through your report with you and your staff team, interpreting those comments, recommendations and actions, helping you put together an action plan to improve. Package 3: Packages 1 and 2 plus two days training for your staff team: This four day in depth consultancy includes two days training for you and your staff based on the main priorities identified as part of the inspection and feedback process. This training can take place in the evenings or weekends at your convenience and will be tailor made to fit your setting. £1,500 General Consultancy: At £400 per day with written and verbal feedback provided, I am happy to provide consultancy on all areas of early year’s practice, from team building to observation and record keeping, providing an enabling environment to adult interaction skills.
